Reset Password to Astra Web Interface

After installing Astra, the default login and password are both admin.

If you changed the password and forgot it, reset it using the server console command:

astra --reset-password

The command will ask you to enter the following information:

• Port: the port number for your web interface (default is 8000)
• User login: the username for the account
• New password: the new password to set

Change user password

An administrator can change any user’s password through the web interface:

1. Open Settings → Users
2. Select the user whose password you want to change
3. Enter the new password and click Apply

If you’ve changed your own password, the Astra web interface will be reloaded and you will be required to log in with your new password.
