DVB-T/T2 Reception Issues
Some DVB adapters cannot automatically detect the Bandwidth value for DVB-T/T2 signals. In such cases, you need to set this parameter manually in the DVB Adapter settings on the Advanced tab.
Bandwidth Settings
Section titled “Bandwidth Settings”For DVB-T and DVB-T2 reception, the Bandwidth parameter determines the channel width. Common values are:
- 8 MHz - used in most European countries
- 7 MHz - used in some countries like Australia
- 6 MHz - used in Americas and some Asian countries
Check the broadcast specifications for your region to determine the correct value.
cxd2878: SLtoAIT_BandSetting error
Section titled “cxd2878: SLtoAIT_BandSetting error”This error may appear in the dmesg log for DVB adapters TBS 6209SE. To resolve this issue set the Bandwidth parameter in the DVB Adapter settings, on the Advanced tab:
- 8 MHz for DVB-T or DVB-T2
- 6 MHz for ISDB-T
