Receiving via DVB

DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) is a suite of internationally accepted open standards for digital television. It encompasses various transmission methods, including satellite (DVB-S/S2), cable (DVB-C/C2), and terrestrial (DVB-T/T2, ISDB-T, ATSC) broadcasting.

DVB address is used to select the DVB Adapter and configure parameters for receiving the digital TV stream. The most common format of the DVB address is:

dvb://adapter#options
  • adapter: unique adapter identifier. You may find it in the DVB Adapter settings. Read more about DVB Adapters

Additional Options:

  • pnr=number: program number for MPTS streams. When defined, it enables stream demultiplexing and selects the program with the specified number
  • cam: enables descrambling using the DVB CAM module installed in the adapter

Examples of DVB addresses:

dvb://a001#pnr=100
dvb://a002#pnr=200&cam

Please read the DVB Adapter guide for detailed instructions on setting up and configuring your DVB adapters.
