Receiving via DVB
DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) is a suite of internationally accepted open standards for digital television. It encompasses various transmission methods, including satellite (DVB-S/S2), cable (DVB-C/C2), and terrestrial (DVB-T/T2, ISDB-T, ATSC) broadcasting.
Media Address Format
Section titled “Media Address Format”DVB address is used to select the DVB Adapter and configure parameters for receiving the digital TV stream. The most common format of the DVB address is:
dvb://adapter#optionsadapter: unique adapter identifier. You may find it in the DVB Adapter settings. Read more about DVB Adapters
Additional Options:
pnr=number: program number for MPTS streams. When defined, it enables stream demultiplexing and selects the program with the specified numbercam: enables descrambling using the DVB CAM module installed in the adapter
