Driver installation for TBS

TBS is a hardware manufacturer specialized on DVB devices: tuners, modulators.

Installation

Use the official TBS script to install the driver. Run the command as root or with sudo:

curl -sSf https://www.tbsdtv.com/download/document/linux/drv-tbs.sh | sudo bash -s

The script installs the required packages, downloads the driver source code, and builds the driver for the current kernel.

When the installation is complete, reboot the server. Then check that the driver is installed correctly.

Check Driver

To check if the driver has been installed correctly, list adapters in the dvb directory:

ls /dev/dvb

Should be listed all adapters installed in the system. For example:

adapter0 adapter1 adapter2 adapter3 ...
